“Questioning Creatives” is a series of talks with creatives who question the status quo of our industry. In this edition, the subject will be money and creativity.

Speakers
Rosa Lois Balle Yahiya (she/her) is the Head of the Secretariat and Founder of the non-profit organisation Another Life that works with representation, mental health and discrimination in the Danish Music and Cultural industries. Rosa Lois will share insights on the cash flows in the music industry and insights from starting a non-profit organisation and building up financial sustainability in it.
Sophie Gevind (she/her) is the founder and creatively responsible for Public Service. Sophie will share her thoughts on building a business as an anarchist, who doesn’t want to work for money, but for meaning.
Sahel Hamdam (he/him) has been a freelance photographer for over 10 years. Sahel will share his journey and learnings on how to juggle finances, pricing, and being creative.
Josefina Estrada (she/her) works with Coop Crowdfunding, a Danish platform for crowdfunding. Josefina will share insights and know-how on how we as creatives can benefit from crowdfunding as an alternative solution to funding creativity.
Rich Perusi (he/him) is a creative director with 20 years of experience in the established creative industry. Rich will share his observations and insights on how an established agency works and functions in terms of finances.
Each will give a 20 min talk, on how their questioning led them on unconventional and untraditional creative paths.
We’ll end with a 30 min. Q&A panel talk, moderated by documentarist and creative, Jennifer Tonndorff.
